EDID Extended Display Identification Data
Extended Display Identification Data is a VESA standard data format that contains basic information about a monitor and its capabilities, including vendor information, maximum image size, color characteristics, factory preset timings, frequency range limits, and character strings for the monitor name and serial number. In layman's terms: if one day you added some unknown nonstandard source equipment, you don't have to worry about the compatibility of the Matrix. This function allows Matrix to automatically read your input device’s parameters, and then tell sink the input device’s parameters, then output will automatically choose the suitable input parameters to the output. The function can be realized by the remote controller of the Matrix.
ARC Audio Return Channel
Audio Return Channel can reduce up send cables, When HD TV directly receive the audio and video, the ARC can pass the audio which is from the HD TV to the A/V amplifier, no need another cable.
Note：Before using the ARC function, please confirm your TV support this function. Only the Output A of the HDM-962U support ARC function. On/off the ARC function by pressing the key on the panel or by IR remote controller.
When you open ARC function，the ARC indicator of the panel will light. The toslink interface of the HDM-962U will output the sound from the currently TV programme.
When you off the ARC function, The ARC indicator will off. HDM-962U
will display the sound from the input source.
