尖晶石介绍
尖晶石是自然界中少有的一种矿物质，必须靠人工合成才能制的。将原料按一定比例配比，混炼压球成型（加入适量纸浆）。经特质电熔炉高温熔炼，在熔炼过程中，保持微还原状态，防止FeO氧化成Fe2O3,防止出现单质Fe,经自然冷却后而制得的铁铝尖晶石砂。其在显微镜下显示无晶界得均匀大晶体（占95%），类似玻璃态物质。加工成铁铝尖晶石砖后，主要应用于大型水泥回转窑，替代目前水泥窑使用的铬砖，无Cr6+污染。延长了炉衬砖使用寿命（镁铬砖10-12个月，铁铝尖晶石砖17-18个月），大大降低了耐火材料人力物力的消耗，减少了生产成本，完全实现了水泥窑无铬化生产，解决了铬污染公害。铁铝尖晶石代表了水泥回转窑新一代高性能无铬耐火材料。
合成尖晶石的两个主要方法是烧结法和电熔法。多数尖晶石材料是由高纯合成氧化铝和化学级氧化镁制成，即在竖窑烧结和在电弧炉内电熔。
铝镁尖晶石属于一种铝镁氧化物，其主要成分为氧化铝和氧化镁。铝镁尖晶石有天然形成和人工合成两种。天然镁砂尖晶石极少发现，工业上应用的铝镁尖晶石全部都是人工合成的，合成铝镁尖晶石的两个主要方法是烧结法和电熔法。多数尖晶石材料是由高纯合成氧化铝和化学级氧化镁制成，即在竖窑烧结和在电弧炉内电熔。
烧结铝镁尖晶石具有良好的抗侵蚀、抗腐蚀、抗剥落能力强，抗渣性能好，抗磨蚀能力强，热稳定性好，耐高温等特点。电熔尖晶石具有耐高温、体密大、吸水率低、热膨胀系数小、热稳定性好、抗侵蚀能力强的特点。

尖晶石用途
烧结铝镁尖晶石用于水泥回转窑，不但避免了铬公害，而且具有良好的抗剥落性。烧结铝镁尖晶石用于制作钢包浇注料，大大提高钢板衬的抗侵蚀能力，使烧结铝镁尖晶石广泛应用于炼钢用耐火材料。优质预合成尖晶石的制取为不定形及定形高纯耐火材料的生产提供了新的原料。
电熔铝镁尖晶石是制造滑板、水口砖、平炉炉砖的理想材料。铝镁尖晶石制品的高温力学性能良好，是大型水泥窑中性水泥窑过滤带、耐火浇注料、高中窑具的基本原料。电熔铝镁尖晶石用于钢铁冶炼、玻璃工业窑炉。

Spinel introduction
